My Cigars

I love craftsmanship wherever I find it. Whether it's a watch, a well designed chair, a beautiful hand drawn map, a clothing article, or a cup of coffee, the conscientious investment in the process of creation is not only in itself a joy to consider, it usually results something beautiful, admirable, and enjoyable. A good cigar is a genuine objet d'art that invites the knowledgeable, appreciative smoker into an experience that is a kind of performance art. The skilled smoker plays his cigar like a fine instrument, discovering and drawing out with careful attention the cigar's potential. The impressive, multifaceted process of creating a fine cigar finds its fleeting consummation in combustion, its transient perfection in going up in smoke.

B. Poremba Feinschmeckers cigars are handmade right outside of Santiago, Dominican Republic in a small family-run farm right next to the Davidoff farm.  These smokes are intended for the flâneur: the laid-back passionate spectator, lover of life, and appreciator of details of beauty, design, and creativity.
